Hello Brides and Groom! Today I’m asking you a question … should you consider wedding insurance?
A Wedding can mean lots of planning, and expense. What if something unforeseen occurs to a vendor you’re using or something happens that means you need to postpone the day?
The average cost of a wedding in this country is £27,000. That’s a big investment.
Put it this way, the more you put into your wedding, the bigger the risk.
Stand-alone wedding insurance typically covers cancellation or rearrangement of the wedding due to accident, illness or bereavement within the main wedding party.
It should also cover you if one of your suppliers goes out of business, along with loss or damage to the wedding dress, rings, cake or flowers and failure of wedding cars.
Some insurers will let you buy cover up to the day itself, so it’s never too late.
Don’t get caught out. I advise you to insure your wedding just for that extra piece of mind.
