Gia and John had an amazing wedding at the beautiful Dorfold Hall in May. A fantastic sunny day, full of joy & laughter and the joining of two families.
Why did you choose Dorfold Hall for your Wedding?
I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. (Especially the Coach house – even in its state of ruins) We took a massive risk going with a new venue that was unfinished. However, the impressive grounds and the vision of what the Coach House could be for our ceremony was exactly what I wanted. The Coach House is big enough to seat all of our guest, yet feels intimate and romantic. From the moment I heard plans of installing a mezzanine I could picture a string quartet playing up there during our ceremony and was instantly sold.
You guys – what do you do, what is important in life? etc…
Personally I do not feel as though my job defines me in any way, I like to think I am the polar opposite of most lawyers! John works in shipping. The most important things in life to us are family, friends and our dogs… And holidays!
The Proposal … tell me everything … even the soppy stuff
We went to the Maldives for our 10 year anniversary. John got down on one knee on the first night and we had a wonderful week celebrating.
What experience do you want your guests to have on the day?
I want them to feel as though they have stepped into a real life fairytale and hope that they have a fabulous time from start to finish.
Why do you want your day filmed? Why is it important? and why did you choose In Love Wedding Films?
To look back on our day and appreciate all the hard work that went into making it so special for ourselves and all of our friends and family. I like the style of video In Love Wedding films create. I also like the idea of having drone footage of the spectacular venue.
